"Non filing" companies usually refers to non-SEC registrants, which is a very different situation. Here we are dealing with SEC registrants who have a legal obligation to file, but are not.

There is a board on I-Hub dedicated to delinquent filers. Renee has done a fantastic job listing the delinquent filers and updating the list as the SEC suspends them.

8 suspended in one day is absolutely significant. Especially since there was 1 suspension yesterday and 6 suspensions on Monday. That makes 16 companies suspended by the SEC for delinquent filings in just the last 3 days.
