Titan Medical Inc. Announces Option Agreement With Platform Imaging, LLC

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - June 16, 2015) - Titan Medical Inc. ("Titan" or the "Company") (TMD.TO) (TITXF) today announced that it has signed an Option Agreement with Platform Imaging, LLC to acquire the exclusive rights to integrate camera control software into the SPORT™ Surgical System. This sophisticated tool-tracking software will enable automation of the pan and tilt functions of the camera module to provide surgeons with a view of the surgical field without the need to manually position and reposition the camera.

Dennis Fowler, Executive Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs of Titan Medical Inc., commented, "We are very pleased to acquire this technology.
