I guess a good Word then from Jesus today is about Faith, and the Parable of the Mustard Seed!:
Matthew 13:31--
The Parable of the Mustard Seed
31He presented another parable to them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field; and this is smaller than all other seeds, but when it is full grown, it is larger than the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR come and NEST IN ITS BRANCHES."
So it makes a lot of perfect internal sense in our hearts then doesnt it? When we hope or pray for something, with even the smallest Faith, yet are steadfast......how many times has this grown into something unexpected and, well amazing later on in our lives?
I know it hasnt always been the time table i wanted, lol..but looking back i can see some incredible things that have come from seemingly 'dead' or just stale times of Faith in my life.
And the coolest thing is that his can grow eventually so much, this simple initial Faith --- that all these other lives and things can then be even Blessed by your initial tiny Faith .....here the example is that the tiny seed of Faith...eventually became a tree that all these other creatures nested in, lived in and around, maybe were feed by it, protected by it, sheltered from rain and storms.....probably all kinds of other creatures, maybe some humans harvested the mustard seeds, or kids climbed for fun the tree idk lol and of course millions of insects too over time lol.
And yet it all started as just ONE mere tiny tiny seed. And Christ says that is how our Faith is supposed to work, and that even the smallest Fith in Him and the Kingdom can lead to incredible things later on .....yo.....amaaaaaaaazing i love it GWooooooooooooooo lol
