Tobacco companies buy and sell tobacco.

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_Morris_International

If it's a product that can be grown, the tobacco industry can do it better than HEMP INC.

They don't grow corn. They don't grow bean. They don't grow tomatoes. They don't grow cotton. They don't grow Christmas trees. In some cases, they don't grow their own tobacco; rather, they buy from third parties (i.e. independent farmers, other countries, etc).

Tobacco is more concerned with marketing and selling tobacco. Since their industry has been heavily regulated, marketing their product has been more challenging, and since their market share is declining due to new competition, tax increases, and negative stigma, they may want to consider other business lines. In any event, if guys like Big Tobacco are going to support hemp, and help progress the movement, that is a huge plus for Hemp Inc; we can help process their hemp has they start to assemble their own hemp processing facility, when legal. Though getting their own facility online would take several months, if not years to accomplish, whereby confusing the heck out of their end users. "Can I get a pack of Parliament Hemps, please, brah, whaaaaaaa?"
