Global Energy & Lighting introduces Blaze LED Aisle Fixture

San Jose, CA (PRWEB) June 12, 2015

Global Energy & Lighting's Blaze LED aisle fixture is designed to replace traditional HID lights in a variety of applications, especially warehouse, packing house, and cold storage facilities. With innovative optics and a thermally efficient design, the specialized luminaire achieves efficacy of up to 110 lm/W. Addressing the need for uniform light with excellent color rendering, the San Jose, CA based company's newest LED solution reduces wasted light output on the top and upper portions of warehouse racks. The fixture's rectangular design, coupled with various beam angles, virtually eliminates troublesome dark spaces in warehouse aisles, leading to increased comfort and safety. Blaze LED fixtures are designed to the highest performance specifications, with integrated controls for improved lighting, optimized functionality and cutting-edge aesthetics.

The IP65-rated fixtures are engineered to maximize light output with specular distribution, using a specialized lens which positions the light from LEDs for optimal directionality, giving more precise control to lighting placement, which allows fewer fixtures to illuminate the same space.

The new luminaires are also aimed at advancing the GlobalLink lighting control platform, which the company launched in 2014. With sensors for motion and ambient lighting optionally built into each fixture, Blaze LEDs are capable of automating the lighting system to interact with the environment, staying in sync with daylight. "Smart buildings are automated with the rhythms of operation and environment leading to improved energy efficiency," says Bryan Lanphear, CEO of Global Energy & Lighting. He adds, "We can bring that intelligent technology into existing buildings to bring them up to optimal performance standards."

With the integration of open source Zigbee wireless controls scheduled to launch this quarter as an integrated feature of the light fixture, Blaze LED aisle lights will function like a "Trojan Horse," delivering an extensible platform that incorporates building systems and sensors for superior, flexible operation, and improving efficiency.
