06/02/2015 ORDER re 344 Letter filed by Solution Funding, LLC -- Solution Fundings letter and proposed order effectuating the disbursement of funds from the Court Registry Investment System ("CRIS") pursuant to judgment entered by the Court on April 16, 2015 does not contain sufficient information permitting the Court to determine the propriety of such an order. It is unclear to the Court why Solution Funding, as the party with a right to the funds, should not be designated as the sole payee for the purposes of disbursement. The Court questions the seemingly unnecessary complication of directing that a portion of the judgment be paid directly to counsel versus to the client, particularly where counsel will get nearly half of the funds. Surely Solution Funding has some sort of retainer agreement with counsel. Solution Funding is directed to provide additional information regarding why the Court should not proceed with awarding the funds solely to Solution Funding, which permits Solution Funding to do with the funds as it chooses.
