As all are aware, I am no fan of George the Second, but to compare Bush's invasion of Iraq to Hitler's invasion of Poland does an enormous injustice to those 6.5 mil Poles who perished by Hitler's program of genocide, and their families.

Interesting that you say so because I am currently sitting having a few beers with some Poles and Slovaks right now. We have been discussing the subject for a couple of hours now. They happen to think that you and most of the other people on this board are arrogant, violent and nuts. Why is the simple ASKING of the question so disturbing to Americans. THEY ( the Poles I am drinking beer with )are making the comparison to Hitlers invasion of Poland. I guess you think that is wrong for them to do. I suppose you know more than they do. I suppose it is OK for you to use the deaths of their families as an excuse to suspend critical thought about how the current occupation of Iraq might have some similarities to Hitlers invasion of Poland. Guess what Sarai they don`t think so. Quite the contrary THEY THINK ONE OF THE REASONS SO MANY POLES DIED WAS BECAUSE OF ATTITUDES SUCH AS THE ONE YOU ARE DISPLAYING. When entire subjects become so taboo that even asking questions and making historical comparisons are labeled as injustices it creates an environment in which war hysteria thrives.

I appreciate your anti-war efforts but your suggestion that just making historical comparisons of the invasion of Iraq and the Invasion of Poland is an injustice is plain goofy.
