DIRV NEW YORK, June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DirectView Holdings, Inc. (DIRV) ("DirectView" or the "Company"), a company focused on ownership and management of leading video and security technology companies, today announced that it has entered a co-marketing agreement with PositiveID Corporation (PSID), to jointly market the companies' products to homeland security and first responders.
DirectView provides, among other products and services, body worn cameras, video surveillance systems, video storage servers, digital video recorders, and network video recorders, to address the security needs of law enforcement, businesses and security companies. PositiveID develops molecular diagnostic systems, including Firefly Dx, which is designed to provide real-time, accurate diagnostic results in a handheld device, thereby leading to treatment scenarios at the point of need that are not possible with existing lab-based systems. Firefly's applications for first responders include point-of-need, lab-quality detection of pathogenic organisms and detection of biological agents associated with weapons of mass destruction.
"We are excited to team up with Positive ID as we continue to work towards our goal of providing a comprehensive set of security related solutions for law enforcement and business applications," stated Roger Ralston, Chairman and CEO of DirectView. "We believe this agreement is another step in helping us add additional products while expanding the distribution of our products through Positive ID's sales channel. We look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with our new partner for years to come as we build out this important potential revenue opportunity."
