A few days ago I've searched my way through literally hundreds off patents of PAM's and although I've no knowledge or skills to analyse them. There were a few things that I noticed:
1) the fast majority of the patentholders have asian names
2) Not all PAM patents are related to the automotive industry
3) Honda, Toyota, BYD, 3M, DuPond are a number off the big payers that I found.
4) lots of patents are held by universities
5) there are french and germain PAM's that are nanostructured ones not chemical based.

That is making me wonder if Hydrophi Technologies Group will ever have access to the US and Chinese market.

Look for instance at the titan clash between Apple and Samsung and their patent war. The company wouldn't survive this even if they are in their write. Because as we all know write has to be obtained by law. When it comes to patent law in Europe first you have to obtain an European patent and then within a year you have to apply for the patent in each individual nation within the EU. More then a year ago politicians in Brussels wanted one European patent in order to make Europe more competitive toward the other big markets in the world. This patent could only been written in English, German and French it didn't continue because the Italians and Spaniards were against this.
