Don't know why PPCH wouldn't reduce the maximum authorized share count because having your AS at 10 billion shares makes zero sense when the company has 334 million shares outstanding. Never made any sense to have it at 10 billion shares. Hypothetically speaking, if PPCH lowered its maximum authorized to say 2 billion shares, and PPCH had 334 million outstanding, PPCH could still increase new issuance by nearly 600% from here. It would make more sense to have a maximum authorized at say 2 billion shares, and if PPCH eventually issues 2 billion shares, the company could then raise the maximum authorized to whatever is needed. Just makes no sense to authorize 10 billion shares currently when at the end of last quarter PPCH had 334 million shares issued and outstanding.
