Kanakaris Wireless (KKRS: .249) today began selling DSL high-speed Internet connectivity to both homes and businesses with an email campaign to all registered users of its online move web site CinemaPop.com and links from all its pop culture web sites. In a second press release issued, the company clarified that it intends to sell AT&T DSL services to homes and business. In several pieces of correspondence received by Kanakaris Wireless from AT&T, this contract was referred to as a partnering. Among the written references: 1) ``By partnering with AT&T to purchase DSL lines in bulk at discounted rates, you'll be able to resell DSL to your customers.'' 2) "It was so nice speaking with you today regarding partnering with AT&T." 3) "Benefits of partnering with AT&T." 4) "We look forward to partnering with your business. "Kanakaris has now been informed by AT&T that the contract does not represent a partnership. Kanakaris Wireless looks forward to aggressively selling AT&T DSL services and regrets the misunderstanding over the term partner. Kanakaris Wireless does not believe that this misunderstanding will affect its long-term relationship with AT&T and plans to commence sales of its services immediately. KKRS closed off .015 (4%), with 1,644,100 shares traded.
