Creative Technology has announced its newest version of portable MP3 players – the Creative Digital MP3 Player LX200 and LX100.

Creative Technology has announced its newest version of portable MP3 players – the Creative Digital MP3 Player LX200 and LX100. The LX200 comes with a built-in memory of 256MB and has an estimated street price of US$169 ($309). The LX100 is priced at US$119 ($239), and comes with a built-in memory of 128MB. Both models are slated for shipment this month in Asia through Creative's extensive retail network.

Creative Digital MP3 Player allows drag and drop of music and data files between PC and Creative Digital MP3 Player without the need of drivers and special software, and plays skip-free MP3 and WMA music anywhere. As a removable storage device, it is recognised just like a removable solid-state hard disk when connected to a USB port.

Weighing in at 51 grams and 17.5mm thin, Creative Digital MP3 Players also come with FM radio and FM/voice recording capabilities. They are powered by rechargeable built-in Li-Ion battery, which can keep the players going for up to 10 hours of playtime.
