Todays Word from our Lord is about: money - oh no....lol
Well, this is all very near and dear to us, all of us here.....who trade stocks. And its why this is the most difficult thing i have to deal with on these Boards - i took like a 3 month break this year from posting on any stock Boards cause i find myself thinking about money and greed and gain too much, and worse coercing via my writing others to buy a stock to -- for my gain.
And etc....you all know what im talking about. Anyways i dont want to cheapen the Gospel at all - though im a realist too, and i wanted to have this Virtual Church even here in the most unexpected place: penny stock universe lol. And if i dont 'play the game' too then well its not as fun (this is the main reason i trade and post its so fun to of course win money but for me, just as fun to find a winner then happily react with others when that happens - ive won money with a stock and not posted and it just aint even close to as fun, ...know what im sayin?) -- and if i have no skin in this game why should people even come follow me here?
But anyways, this is an argument within me internal in progress -- though at the very least i throw all money and thoughts of it aside at the feet of God - its temporal, when i had little of it i was still fine....and its a tool to be used for good or bad.
So the below is great but very convicting to my soul......and i constantly have to guard my more greedy areas of myself from taking over my mind at times, especially when thinking about this or that stock.
Anyways...may our treasures be reaffirmed even today in God alone, and remember to set our Hearts on the Great Prize in Heaven via Salvation through Jesus Christ....and not some penny mega runner...lol:
Matthew 6:19-24
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[a] your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money
