Terminating your Social Security Number

Eddie explains this is not to be done casually or to be taken lightly as practically everything in the USA revolves around the Social Security Number.

Eddie Craig explains how and under what Code of Federal Regulations a man or woman can terminate their Social Security Contract.

Code of Federal Regulations Section 404.1905

Each agreement shall contain provisions for its possible termination. If an agreement is terminated, entitlement to benefits and coverage acquired by an individual before termination shall be retained. The agreement shall provide for notification of termination to the other party and the effective date of termination.

Eddie also provides the Federal Laws concerning the disclosure of the Social Security number as well as the legal penalties.

Privacy act of 1974

“It shall be unlawful for any Federal, State or local government agency to deny to any individual any right, benefit, or privilege provided by law because of such individual’s refusal to disclose his social security account number.” Sec. 7(a)(1).
