Exactly. Every acquisition is not the same. It is very different between McAfee and Micron and Altera. This is about servers - the crown jewels of Intel as an article said. Intel needs to guard this space against any ARM intrusion by whatever means possible.

BK said during a post-Altera-acquisition interview that "....our customers are asking for this solution...".

Otellini couldn't have made the same comment about McAfee!
