I stick to the "if it goes south your not losing a lot method"

I love the little pennies! I just stick with $100(plus 8.95 fee) and get laughed at all the time for the small trades. But If I may give one example I spent 70.00 plus (8.95 fee) in HJOE held it for less than 2weeks and cashed $1,000 out minus 8.95 fee and still left $500 worth free shares in to ride the next wave. That has already doubled so I plan to grab another $2-$400 Monday to put in a few other stocks.
(which is really panic selling because I'm little worried all the hype will bring it back down)


Of course I have lost that initial $100 on a few others, as I grow I will move over to few larger NASDAQ and get in on some
