http://www.bhpbilliton.com which also produces coal is joining in with the oil companies attacking coal too....
http://www.nrg.com which uses coal sees solar as the future...
6 months ago http://walterenergy.com (WLT) was way ahead of us in market cap. We became about 2x them.
Watching http://www.archcoal.com (ACI) recently being 4x our market cap , one time a multi billion company now $108M... VS our 77M At $108 mkt cap, they have loses of $100M per quarter. And $5B in debt....
We are soon to pass these monster companies to be left in our dust.
The counted on Ole Kentucky Mitch to protect them. ACI is down 71% since the Repubs took over....
Meanwhile Kentucky power plants are converting to Nat Gas...
At least for a little while we do need some coal. For now....
