Who's the charity anyway? I see no mention.

With all the research invested in the festival, I'm totally shocked that the beneficiaries of the proceeds from the festival could not be found since it is on the front page of their web site announcement:

Proceeds to Benefit "Make A Film Foundation"

Make A Film Foundation grants film wishes to children with serious or life-threatening medical conditions, helping them to create short film legacies by teaming them with noted actors, directors and writers.

One example of the work:

RINA'S Project: The Magic Bracelet

"The Magic Bracelet" fulfills the final wish of Rina Goldberg who lost her valiant battle with Mitochondrial disease at the age of 15. Some of her final words to her mom were, "Promise to take care of my film." Make A film Foundation is proud to have been able to be a part of making this extraordinary dream come true.

"The Magic Bracelet" stars Bailee Madison (Parental Guidance), Hailee Steinfeld (Academy Award nominee- True Grit), Jackson Rathbone (Twilight Franchise), J.K. Simmons (Spiderman) and James Van Der Beek (Dawson's Creek). The film was adapted by Academy Award winner (Juno)-Diablo Cody and directed by Jon Poll (Charlie Bartlett).

Rina's hope was that her film would continue to spread awareness about "Mitochondrial Disease".
