NGV,CNG. Bunk, or BIG! ..All depends on
which Ecofuel co. There are several. The AZ co. which goes by exact name "Ecofuel Technologies" appears to be a dormant shell setup in 2007. Maybe tinkering with NGV conversions was a past hobby interest for Labarre. This technology is nothing new except that's it's better. What is new is how it's finally being marketed. Ford is taking a huge step by offering factory installed CNG modified cylinder heads on its best selling model 5.0L v8 2016 F150s. The rest of the NGV installation for size of NG tanks, and fuel lines are options for new customers to decide related to specific uses or needs. Those lines and tanks will be installed by outside companies like Ecofuel. As to what all this means for BTDG (if any) remains to be seen. It could be a number of different speculative type JVs, acquisition's or mergers. One thing is sure. If it is a NGV Ecofuel venture, it certainly has great potential now than it did in the past. NGV's are going to be huge now that Ford has taken the plunge by offering this platform in it's best selling model. Going forward, a lot more interest will be focused on altering different types of other vehicles in the future. You see why considering NG fuel costs averaging $1-2 per gallon nationwide. The article below is truly transformational stuff.
