Organizations that are struggling to manage apps and data in various cloud and on-premises environments can take advantage of this "single pane of glass" management tool. The Azure-based service is capable of delivering the "any cloud, any OS, any application experience," explained Brad Anderson, Microsoft's Corporate VP of Enterprise Client and Mobility during the Ignite keynote address.

"You get orchestration, application availability, disaster recovery and backup," said Anderson. "And you get all of that capability, on virtual, physical, public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, VMware, HyperV all under one page of glass."
