TYSONS CORNER, Va., May 28, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ScripsAmerica, Inc. (OTCBB:SCRC), a leading provider of a range of specialty prescription and over the counter pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, today announced that it has received a license to distribute its pharmaceuticals in the State of Ohio.

In response to questions I have received from fellow shareholders...

...although there is a specific "compounding" license that states issue to pharmacies that is separate from the broader more common generic "pharmacy" license, it is my opinion that in this specific case, the PR is indeed referring to Main Ave and NOT to PIMD.

This is important for shareholders to be aware of, IMO, because PIMD is currently an immaterial side revenue stream for which obtaining an Ohio license wouldn't even deserve a passing yawn.

However, obtaining an Ohio license for Main Ave? Now we're talking.

Although the PR did not specifically mention compounding or Main Ave specifically, the reason I believe it is for Main Ave is because...

(1)
PIMD already has a license to distribute pharmaceuticals in Ohio. In fact, PIMD has 2 licenses in Ohio to both operate as a wholesale distributor as well as a distributor of controlled substances. PIMD's Ohio licenses were obtained back in JUL-2014 so these have been in operation in Ohio for almost a full year already. See link below for more info on PIMD's Ohio licenses:

(2)
Per the link below, Main Ave was just recently issued a license in Ohio. I'm not sure what the distinction between the "First Issue Date" of 3/18/15 and "Current Issue Date" of 5/7/15 is, but regardless both are clearly relatively fresh.

That being said, I'm not sure why this Ohio license was not PR'd back in mid-MAR when the "First Issue" was granted. It may have helped stem the market jitters re: the loss of CVS at a time when the sp was in the midst of its meltdown from the .20's to the "flash crash".

In addition, with the "Current Issue" date of 5/7/15, why did SCRC wait until today, 5/28/15, to PR this? In the midst of what has otherwise been radio-silence from SCRC, a positive announcement such as this may have instilled morale and helped maintain market confidence in SCRC and prevented the crash yesterday from happening.

But, yesterday is spilt milk and the silver lining is that for those fortunate enough to scoop up shares in either the .06x levels or the low-.07x levels, this PR today certainly didn't hurt the sp's ability to bounce off yesterday's historic all-time low...

All in all, a positive development that at least lets the market know that SCRC execs haven't all fled the country, LOL... ...but one word of advice for Joe Hassett of Gregory FCA: In the future, for positive PR's that involve Main Ave, it would be wise to specifically state that it is for Main Ave. Everyone who follows SCRC is aware that at the current time, SCRC is a one trick pony and that pony's name is Main Ave. Main Ave is the engine that drives SCRC and is the source of 99% of SCRC's revenues/earnings. Vague PR's that leave some unsure of whether the license was for PIMD or WRx or some other entity does not help.

Of course, this is still presuming that this Ohio license for Main Ave is what will enable Main Ave to sell/ship its compounded Rx products to Ohio -- or whether this license is NOT a compounding license but merely a generic license to permit Main Ave to sell/ship its diabetic supplies to Ohio... ...hopefully it is a license for either compounding OR compounding+diabetic, as a license for diabetic supply only would NOT be what shareholders are looking for. After all, given how material the compounding business is to Main Ave/SCRC, obtaining compounding licenses in new states is the fastest way to make up for the loss of CVS/Caremark...
