A lot of you people out there kill me!
NODL was a profitable reporting company before the buy out announcement. The stock ran to a $1.50 when everyone (including me) was hoping for a quick profit with a buyout of $2.17. Minority shareholders (anyone that doesn't have restricted stock) gets upset when it turns to a merger because most of them were looking for a quick payout. However, the company is looking long term and what will be best for the company in the long term! Thus the merger.
The Bashers say it is a scam mainly because the new PRs show only a portion of what NorthWest is worth touting they could have never done the buyout in the first place. You never hear the Bashers point out that we only have the reported financial strenght of just 2 divisions of NorthWest. They forget about possibilities of Loans and they even forget about the fact NorthWest was bidding on other companies before NDOL, which were even bigger.
So now we go down in share price because those looking for a quick payout bail and go elsewhere. Daytraders, mm and shorters take adavantage of this further driving the stock down. In addition to vague and poorly written PRs or lack there of.
Also, if I were part of NorthWest or associated with them and my stock was going to be restricted. Would all the people involved, friends, relatives, associates all want to get in now at the cheapest price possible? Could be why no PRs worth anything yet. The Russians want your stock as cheap as possible too!
None of this changes the DD done on the part of the investor who saw great potential in the company, Russian Oil and how it will play out in the upcoming years world wide. Nor does it change any facts on the profit of the company or the importance of its transportation section etc...
How many pink stocks do you know of which fully reports, is profitable to the point this is, has a merger with a powerhouse with political ties in Russia to only benefit the companies future, going to the AMEX ect... this thing is just screamin potential!
Forget the bashers, due your own thinking, research and act accordingly. Take the emotion out and think. If this looks good hang on or buy at this ridiculously low price. If you belive the sky is falling from all these chicken littles and the DD doesn't look good then share the facts and enlighten us all.
