Comparing pricing of normal companies with mid level aspirations to those with disruptive technology that could become an industry standard (protocol) to me is not possible.

Quite a difference in buying a company because it could help your future growth to buying a company because without them you stand a good chance to lose your market prominence or possibly your continued existence.

Case Western Univ. just received a govt grant ($675K) to further their development of a new method to extract titanium and, if it works as preliminary results show it should, the price of the metal is expected to drop by 60% or thereabouts as extraction is the vast reason for the current price. How much would a mining company pay for that IP knowing that only they would possess same? Sphere could easily be that dominant a factor in the cloud/IT realm.

The longer til the buyout, the more GW shows what it can do, and the more the value rockets up at an increasing rate. MSFT I am sure would like to buy us right now, but mgt will delay as long as possible to make MSFT realize such a buyout is not an option, but a necessity.
