Each of the tissues in our body has an iodine and vitamin D-3 receptor. anyhow, soils are depleted of iodine, and 20 minutes of good sun a day is a challenge on a rainy or smoggy day. point being, iodine helps manage body function and has been noted to decrease waist line. just an idea to research!
