Usually this firm buys the business who has a lots potentials but in trouble. They take over and re establish and make it profitable within just few years and sell it to some other business for s big $$$
For ex. The rental car company HERTZ! This group of people are so smart and greedy but they know how to make money! They do real good DD before buying a business! To me even long term is nice.. Because they are not looking for running it for long!
As soon as this business turns around than sell it to someone with s big money!
