I think you're confused. I never used the word "artificial" proteins; I used the term synthetic just as it is used throughout the technologies that are extending proteins by means other than a biological host.
Now, this is not my field of expertise; but it is within the expertise of a few of my associates and I trust them and their opinions.
On the other hand, I do know a good bit about accounting; enough to tell you that regardless of the distinction you are trying to draw for the small ignorant little businessman; it will excuse some reporting (not a lot) but it will not excuse the failure to report costs in some category or the other so that you can ambush the shareholder with sudden wealth that was never a cost on your balance sheets, cash flow sheets and profit and loss statements. Anybody who relies on the ignorance of the company in which they are investing should probably avoid investing in penny stocks all together. What kind of DD would you call relying on the company's inability to know how to report their costs?
