ANY/Overland soon to challenge EMC

Got your attention?

Read the recent news releases (several times) including the seemingly gratuitous patent announcement, the LISA win for SnapScale in France, SnapScales unique and patented features and this

http://sphere3d.com/sphere-3d-and-microsoft-to-showcase-virtualization-and-cloud-solutions/

Scalability up and out and load balancing unique to SnapScale are big calling cards. Much less installation headache and less involvement by IT...and all orchestrated by v3 DCO. Significantly less need for IT...get it....less need for high paid employees..all employers' dream.

Ever hear of SnapCloud?

As a minor point (and perhaps not significant) EMC is no longer sold by Promark but SnapScale has been added. How did that happen and did MSFT write the letter of introduction?

Also Overland not pushing product last quarter as they were gearing up for bigger deals/fish...hence the revenue shortfall and perhaps explains the recent money raise...clearly bridge financing as something much bigger is in the hopper.

And MSFT/Azure is going to be buying these units by the container load to manage enterprise data demands.

Do I have all this right...probably not exactly. You decide if I'm in the hunt.

Sphere has the storage big leagues in its crosshairs and it is not eight track tapes.

As an aside Hugo deserves some credit as Sphere will need at least $20m to gear up for the increased storage product demand greatly facilitated by the joined at the hip working relationship with MSFT. (Bet this won't be in SA).
