First of all, what Simon Bramfitt wrote about CCPS & Sphere at the time of the article was absolutely correct. They obtained a server with GlassWare and I suppose fully intended implementation. However, as happens quite often dealing with governmental agencies, decisions get changed or delayed.
Nobody but a professional Sphere basher whould blame Simon Bramfitt for that. Also there was no problem with GlassWare. I asked them this question:

One more question.  Did your GlassWare set up NOT virtualize those specialized software programs?

CCPS reply: "We have been successful with several applications.  We are now in the process of assessing our virtualization needs."

As far as waiting 6 months to compare what the bashers have said about Sphere and GlassWare, that isn't necessary. All we have to do is go back to their articles and message board rants 6 months to a year ago and it is obvious they could not be more wrong.

Can you imagine 1 year ago if some IHub poster had claimed that one day Sphere would have any kind of a partnership with Microsoft let alone "one of the most important" partnerships, the bashers would have attacked that as pure nonsense. Just shows how much credibility should be given to them about anything.
