Shorting is a 2 step process.

First you borrow shares (We'll you should) and sell them.

Then you buy them back (hopefully at a lower price).

But if no one will sell you shares you can't very well buy them and complete the short.

If I buy shares I always put a sell on them pretty high. If the stock tanks, well, I tend to wait it out, because at some point the shorts have to execute step 2 and I don't like to help them out one bit.

Anyways, hopefully it won't come to that cause I like people who help people with cancer out.
