Second hand from a non techie shareholder friend who was in attendance.

All that we have imagined in the best case scenario regarding the relationship between ANY/MSFT is true. Don't grill me on details but this was his takeaway.

Microsoft management extremely elated to have Sphere on board.....their most important cloud partner. Say it twice.

Sphere GW fills in all the gaps that MSFT was unable to figure out and they have already spent $16 Billion on Azure infrastructure over a decade. The filling in the gaps emanated from MSFT management.

Microsoft will utilize Sphere hardware extensively. Microsoft has approached working with Sphere with zeal and urgency. Shifting business to the cloud is job #1 on MSFT to do list and Glassware is indeed their secret sauce. Any app, any device any everything. Ubiquity.

Simon Bramfitt was in attendance.

Sphere has been meeting with govt agencies to virtualize and rescue their mainframe debacle as they are no longer supported. Not sure how or if part of MSFT deal.

Many tech demonstrations that were over my friends head. Speed and containerization and security were emphasized.

Eric Kelly started with an investor presentation outlining all the areas where Sphere could add value.

My main takeaway is that MSFT has flipped over Sphere's technology and working together. PT and EK were very impressed with how fast MSFT could get work accomplished.
