At this level, IMO it is silly to think that standard retail traders could afford to short, $2.50 per share reserve. Much of the shorting that happens in sub penny is note holders prior to conversion. Short volume is quickly if not instantly covered. Short interest is generally non existent. If a MM wanted to short, it's a silly gamble at these levels IMO. Any speak of squeezes, etc, is just a pumper trying to spark interest IMO. Aggressive naked shorts, a different story, also illegal.
