Guys, there is a lot of buzz on here this afternoon ..... waiting for the release of the Q1 numbers. From the comments, I have gleaned the following emotions: excitement, apprehension, nervousness, and pure unadulterated glee. I sort of equate it to the feelings you had when you were a kid on Christmas Eve .... you knew you were in for something exciting (quite possibly groundbreaking) but you were not sure what it was.
There is one big difference though between this and Christmas Eve. On Christmas Eve (looking back on it, that is) you knew your parents were going to do the best they could to make sure that what was in that wrapped box was going to result in you smiling and jumping up and down.
In this case, however, there is a very strong likelihood that what is coming will result in one or more of the following ....
1. A ballpeen hammer to the nads, as the legendary ihub poster CCVAPES recently said
2. A SIGNIFICANT reduction in your net worth and/or liquidity position
3. A sneaky suspicion that this might not be a real company
4. A realization that you suck at picking stocks and probably should stick to mutual funds
5. More posts from ihub posters saying things like "it's all part of the plan, we're just getting rid of the shorts"
