"Lets face it there are a lot of costs associated with the staffing the office and it's expense. "

Yah...all 2 of them? While I agree I think you need to be specific and say his (CEO) and the infamous Int'l sales mgr (aka:GalPal). Then you have the copier paper and ink and a phone. I can't be sure the van has enough gas money to drive around. It tells me how bad things really are there.

"Trade shows and demo's to enhance the sales of all the products."

I'm of the opinion that the tradeshows aren't in the budget either anymore. The dynamic demo duo I think are just being confined to doing YouTube video's as I'm not sure how much compensation the CEo can afford.

"doesn't take long to burn thru monies generated from sales"

What was it....12-13 mil over 9 years always spending more than any annual sales reported over those years as well.

"when he becomes CEO of a company with dropping income, is fire the sales force to save money"

He found dilution easier and much more fruitful for him instead of concentrating on sales. But hen he doesn't have the talents to do this so dilution was the easy choice.

"It seems to be a theory to cut down on sales people to maintain your salary."

Hardly a theory now. It's imo called SELF PRESERVATION.

"He can line em up but can't close the deal so there's no sale, no sale, no sale."

How true ...and then add on a Int'l sales mgr and still no talent to close deals. Good talker/blogger though just no substance or truth to his fantasy.

All just my opinion
