It would make a ton of sense to purchase them at $.003 and then re-issue at a higher price. I believe Vanis mentioned returning them to treasury. This would tell me that they have every intention of issuing them again in the future. Why not just retire the shares if not? I guess you could argue that they may "need" the shares so you don't want to retire them (for emergency,) but then that would nullify the argument that Vanis stated that the current SS is suffice.
