BCS paladin, pls make a difference between collaboration YOU are aware of (or any one else of us) and those that are going on and which are, probably by ALL involved companies and not only PPHM, kept non-disclosed.
SK made a statement that they HAD 24+ of them and later on added that after SUNRISE was enrolled they'd focus on having MORE of them. I think there were 6 to 12 months between both statements.
So at some point the existing collaborations must pay off or SK would not go after any others. And I would not see another statement in relation to PPHM play a role to facilitate the production (Avid) for other companies involved in research apart from that.
By the way, Janssens (JNJ) does the same on a larger scale. they give them complete offices and facilities to research. PPHM does it for research production. And Sanofi now also announced its SUNRISE initiative going in the 'collaborative effort'.
I think that when the oncology market, and certainly the Immuno-Oncology market, fastly converges towards a COMBO-Driven environment that collaborations will be the KEYWORD of the future. It will be 'game' to be in as MUCH combo's as possible.
And what BETTER substance could you have as 'the ONLY UPSTREAM PS Targeting' one, Bavituximab, that MIXES with EVERYTHING without having meaningful side-effects of its own? And, of which you own the pipelines and the IP 100% unencumbered and for which you have excellent brand new cGMP production facilities available where you can produces it cheaper, in larger quantities and faster according Garnick.
PPHM is in the best position to be the MOST WANTED COMBO COMPONENT OWNER ever once SUNRISE gets approved.
