Holden is Managing Director and Senior Analyst covering the Advanced Manufacturing & Industrial Technology sector. He has been in equity research for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Oppenheimer in September 2014, Holden spent 12 years as a Managing Director and Senior Analyst at BB&T Capital Markets where, in addition to his Advanced Manufacturing names, he covered Industrial Manufacturing & Distribution. He has consistently been ranked in external polls such as Starmine and The Wall Street Journal, and in 2014 was recognized by the former as the top stock picker in the Trading Companies & Distributors sector as well as the top stock picker in the U.S. overall. Prior to BB&T, Holden worked at CIBC World Markets (Oppenheimer's predecessor firm) and also Dain Rauscher Corp., covering industrial manufacturers and distributors. He began his career at PaineWebber Group/Lehman Brothers Holdings, first as a Technical Analyst and subsequently as a member of the Electrical Equipment and Household Appliances team.
