I agree. It does not make any sense whatsoever to instantly inherit those fiscal liabilities, nor any sense to inherit potential legal entanglements. CMR could have helped these guys file a Form 211 with FINRA or file a S-1 registration statement with the SEC. The route they went instead is puzzling, and troublesome.
