ITs not weird at all. IF they launch on a specific day and have to ship out ASAP, they will get bombarded with orders! No on wants to deal with that. Taking pre-orders allows the company to know exactly how much product is needed and by when it needs to be done. You have to think that there are tons of people that have been waiting to order cans and lots of them. I plan on getting 8 for myself and more for others.

By taking these pre-orders, the can prepare all shipping labels, order shipping boxes and supplies, etc. They have no idea how many people will be buying on product launch. What if they went live on the 18th and started shipping ASAP and ran out of supplies to ship?? There is a lot more that goes into then people think.

Smart idea to get all the orders in and ship out all at once rather than going on back order or run out of supplies. After that first week or two, once the initial rush is over, it shouldn't be as crazy and more manageable IMO. But the first few weeks people are going to order lots of cans IMO
