If you chartists are correct, then all this "manipulation" by the MMs begs these questions:

Why are they manipulating it? Why don't they WANT it to run up? Wouldn't they be making bank on the profits if the price went up? Why are they holding it or preventing it, as you say, from running up?

I don't have an answer but optimistically, it could imply that if it in fact ever starts moving up, then they can't control it and the "people behind the curtain" would miss out.

OR

The manipulators are all waiting for court decisions, either positive OR negative.

It is truly a conundrum.
