I'm wondering about future acquisitions. I figured that the only reason they were able to squire companies, was through stock trade.

And the only reason those companies went with it, was because of the cell. It would give them access to unique tech, and shares in the company that developed it.

Without the cell, acquisitions are going to be much harder.
