Very good point. I have already asked clerks if the Fin brand is popular and have been told they do not handle it. I would point out to them that it was "right there" for instance and reply would be never knew we handled it, have never sold any. I realize that clerks will not know of every product that their store sells, but this has happened on more than one occasion. I agree with you regarding the blu advertising. I can drive within a 10 mile radius of my home and find several well displayed banners/ signs for that product. Many stores here in the Mid Michigan area have the signage right at the pump or at the door upon entering.
I feel as well that advertising for the products is way behind the competition. My thought is focus much more on making clerks aware that the product is on the shelves and store advertising. People are much more apt to be interested in a new product if they see it where it can be bought as opposed to a TV commercial they pay little or no attention to at all. JMO
