I may be naive but I thought the story was already broken underground like on IHUB but now there needs to be some sort of political approval among the Federal Agencies, possibly.

I imagine it going something like this:

Fed Agency A: "We just busted XXX and they are ready to talk...we found ...redacted..."

Fed Agency B: (shows up at Fed Agency A) ... "..you guys are about to destroy our case we have been working months to build a solid case.."

Fed Agency A: "We have 3 persons and 2 groups with enough evidence to send them all down..!"

Fed Agency C: Shows up late to the party "You guys are both not going to do anything!... listen up here " ...redacted..." (Fed Agency walks out)

Fed Agency A & B: "Who the fruck do they think they are?... we always are this close and every time they get a favor called in to hold off...! because of that .....redacted..."

Fed Agency D: "Listen, we now oversee Fed Agency C so we're going to make a deal and see how far up the ladder we can go..... got it?! We have whistle blowers all lined up (trying to protect themselves..) that have been all part of your investigation and really have been working for us so we have to play this out perfectly but this is what we must do. " ... First, tell Peregrine they only take orders from us from here on out.... redacted..."

.... almost has as many redactions and missing pages as the depositions and damn, would like to know whats on those missing pages : )
