Shorters contributed in the upward move by selling shares that they did not own ("borrowed shares"), about 80.6 Million out of 220.4 Million sold (April 27 to May 5).
May 7 some investors dumped some (May be even MM-s), made some more investors scared and the price dropped to 0.0005 and 0.0004.
However, volumes on the way down were much lower then on the way up, may be 20 million May 7 and about 8 million May 8.
So, Shorters did not get their way, they still need a lot of shares to buy to fulfil their obligation (over 50-55 Million shares). They will need to buy those in next 2-3 weeks. They should help investors that are cool NOW and hold on their shares that are already back up to 0.0005.
I expect bidding 4 asking 6 soon next week, and then up further.
All above is IMO
