Far more likely that they just stopped reporting when the rules changed, and many small Chinese issuers decided that it was just too much work to comply with all the U.S. filing and reporting regs, and just went dark.
Some are coming back lately, and rather than take a huge loss, and sell for nearly nothing, it makes sense to me to wait and see whether CHRI decides to resume reporting. Not much to lose by holding at this point.
