They are taking money from gullible newbies who don't understand pump and dumps and death spirals. No real investor reads a news story and buys a stock without looking at financials, shares structure, working capital. DKAM is a disaster that even a mother couldn't love.
They make 70 cents on the dollar, the company makes 30 cents and retail ends up paying the whole dollar.

Competing is intense among humans, and within a group, selfish individuals always win. But in contests between groups, groups of altruists always beat groups of selfish individuals.
