Here you go, I'll open my big mouth again, with another theory.

I expect to see Mr. Huff look to buy a fuel cell or solar panel company someday. For the same reasons Mr. Murdoch bought into Hughes. To pay himself for something he must spent for. Before a large commercial fleet is launched.
