Filing the lawsuit they would have filed a "cease and desist" order as well, so it's not like they will lose revenue to a competetor. It may take a while to resolve, or the company they are suing could just settle out of court at any point. Doesn't mean the stock is "dead" till it's clear. They still have revenue, that's what makes the company.
