One of the most surprising 4K content moves over the past few weeks was the appearance of Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi epic Interstellar in 4K on Nanotech’s UltraFlix platform. Nanotech’s deal with Paramount Pictures for Interstellar’s 4K streaming rights suggests a desire on UltraFlix’s part to be seen as more than just a purveyor of relatively old and/or niche 4K content, so it will be interesting to see what other big-name deals it may be able to secure in the coming months.
