Since Olsen and Schenk controlled the board up until his removal, there's no telling what assets he removed from the company. I doubt there's any bones left to pick over. Olsen probably pulled out anything that was generating cash and Fan, by his own admission and not surprisingly, has sold whatever assets he could to satisfy the overwhelming debt claims on the channel.

Fan got screwed badly, it seems. It's unbelievable that he had access to Olsen and committed such sums of capital without demanding a thorough look at the company or somehow securing his millions. But there are some pretty careless businessmen out there of all ethnicities; I saw plenty of businesspeople in Southeast Asia do some crazy things in the 90's that ended up sinking them in the financial crisis of '97-98. Empty condo complexes in the middle of rice fields; mega-malls in the middle of nowhere. Bankruptcy and ruin. I think most Asians believe America is the land of rule-of-law and sound business practices. Compared to the rest of the world, it is. That's why our GDP per capita is twice Japans and ten times the size of the average country. But we have a few lying CEOs, too. We aren't completely immune. I think we all learned a big lesson here, Fan and his 'partners' included.
