The exclusive means that Sanofi secures the business relations regarding afrezza so that mannkind doesn't seek someone else for marketing etc. IT DOES NOT MEAN THEY OWN MANNKIND! Mannkind has other drugs down the pipeline coming for which Sanofi will have no licenses of unless mannkind makes another agreement for. Both companies know afrezza is a winner that's why both took huge risks. That's why everyone is buying the crap out of mnkd
